Appearance day of Sri Advaita Acharya

The foremost of all the Vaishnavas who reside at Navadwip is Sri Advaita Acarya, whose virtuous presence has made all the worlds blessed. He is the most preeminent preceptor in all fields including knowledge, renunciation and devotion. In explaining Krsna-bhakti he is like unto Lord Shankara (Shiva) himself, and whatever scriptures that exist within the three worlds he explains in the light of Krsna-bhakti.

With the intense eagerness he continually worships the Shalagram of Sri Krsna with Tulasi manjaris and Ganges water. By the momentum of his spiritual force, his loud shouts pierce the coverings of this universe and, resounding throughout Vaikuntha, reach the ears of Sri Krsna. Hearing this loving summons saturated with devotion, Sri Krsna advents Himself.

Advaita Acarya is the combined incarnation of Maha Visnu and Sadaisiva (who resides in Goloka). His two consorts, Sita and Sri are manifestations of Yoga Maya. Once when Advaita performed worship, whatever gods and demigods He used to meditate upon He saw all gathered at Lord Caitanya's lotus feet, offering prayers. Raising up his two hands, Advaita exclaimed in great ecstasy, "Today all the days of my life have produced a successful result, as all my desires have been fulfilled. My birth and activities have finally born fruit. I have directly perceived Your two lotus feet, which are proclaimed throughout the four Vedas but are unattainable thereby. Now, by Your causeless mercy, You have

revealed Yourself to Me."

He used to go for many years to search for ancient rock carvings in

of paper on those carvings and after rubbed their structure with a

pencil of that same paper.

His mother was at home almost all life but all the family is very

talented in playing music so she was playing a lot but not professional.

We want to share with you this intersting post and countinuation of the little travel of Gurumaharaj in South Germany.

We visited the uncle of Gurudeva and his home.

They didnt meet for many many years and the visit was very intersting.

This is an old castle where the grandparents of Gurudeva used to live before years.

On the photo is the grandfather of Gurudeva and some realtives.

The uncle of Gurudeva-Hans,was so kind to serve us tea and accept us as his guests

In the family of Gurudeva there were many musicians.His uncle plays piano and other instruments :)

And.....Krihsna in European style :)

The uncle of Gurudeva is living alone but still engaged in some social and music activities.

Then we visited the house of Rukmini dd. which is in the same city.

Gurudeva is so mercyful to visit his deciples everywhere

And the 3 younger followers were happy to play with us :)

And the other special place in the near is the house of the sister of Gurudeva!

Her name is Sabine.She was so kind and lovely with us :)She is working with people with psyhological problems.

They were happy to have a little time together.

Next post will be even more intersting !

Gurumaharaj visited a grihasta ashram in Bad-Homburg,where are living Gupta Vrindavan d.d. and Purosotama prabhu with their children.

The devotees were very happy that Gurudeva visited them

And presented the new Srimad-Bhagavatam version in Spanish written by Gurudeva Atulananda

One of the main reasons of the visit was the official opening of the new Inbound School of Yoga

Dear devotees,Gurudeva arrived to Germany!!!Now we have the mercy of his association in Bad-Homburg,south Germany.In the next few days He will be on a small tour in this part of the country,visiting different devotees and his mother.

Gurumaharaj was the last 2 months in India,working for many projects for protecting the holly dham.

The devotees living in the south part of the country in the company of some devotees from the north:)Gurudeva is always conecting...

Coming from India here is a bit cold i guess....:)

Krishnananda Acharya from Hungary visited our Berlin Yatra .

He visited many grihastas homes and The Kurukshetra temple too :)

Here he gave a nice evening lecture and shared with us many beautiful stories from the early times when Bhakti Yoga began in the land of Hungary.In that time in many European countries was dominating the communism and that Krishna consciousness can exist there have been a real adventure!

Beaitiful to see how by mercy all is growing and blooming as much as the mercy and our own motivation allows us.We hope that such a special personalities can visit us more often in Kurukshetra Mandir.

Vegetarisch-in-Berlin took part on the World Children day Festival,organised by a non-profit organisation in Potsdam,Berlin.

The goal of that organisation is to spread te ideas of bio food and organic way of life,so the delicious prasadam was exactly what all of them needed :)

The happy mood of the devotees even between a lot of work for shure have left in the hearts of many visitors positive feelings in the heart amd in the stomach as well:)

Srila Guru Maharaj was in Berlin many different days in the period of July and August.He was making a Europe tour and in between different countires he was passing from Berlin again and again.We want to share with you a report with photos from the most important events during the visits of Gurudeva and Gurudeva Atulananda in Berlin.Sorry for being so late :)

Kurukshetra-Inbound School Of Yoga on the World Culture Festival

The World Culture Festival took place in Berlin,in the month of July ´11.It was organised by the group Art Of Living for their 30 years celebration.It was a very international festival with many visiotrs and programs from all over the world.We also had a stand from the Kurukshetra-Inbound Scool of Yoga for saling items from our shop and inviting the people to our ashram.

We made the shop empty for to take all to the festival!!!

It was a big mooving...

And...our stand!!!We had an extra adventure with the weather -it was raining all the weekend and became much colder....so for to keep all dry we had to put the stands very tide under the tent and when the custumors were inside too was a real funny situation.But we sold a lot of jackets and shalls becouse everyone was cold and wet.

After the festival the metro was so crouded

The festival, with the theme of ‘Celebrating Diversity and Enriching Life' saw around 50,000 people from across 151 countries, 6000 artists and 804 dignitaries, including religious and spiritual leaders, ministers, members of parliament and ambassadors from around the world. The main attraction was the extensive yoga and meditation workshop conducted by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

On the main stage were many beautiful performances from many cultures.Indian dance presenting Krsna and the gopis :)

More than 1000 Bulgarian danced in a performance the traditional bulgarian dance Horo.

Around 1000 quitar players joined together and played music.

There were pavilions of some of the continents-Europe pavilion,Afrika pavilion,Asia pavilion,America pavilion.There were little stages with other performances.

Also all the festival was completely vegetarian and the catering was made by devotees , the "Vegetalis" company,which produces prasadam!

Report from the visit of Harijan Maharaj in Berlin

BA Harijan Maharaj visited Berlin for 2 weeks.He gave us a lot of inspiration with his joyful and in the same time strict mood of living spiritual life.

In Kurukshetra Ashram He gave open lectures every evening

One sunny day we went for harinam in the park.

Maharaj plays a hungarian folklore instrument called citra.

Is beautiful to hear the holly name in so many different moods of the different cultures!

After the bhajan and distributing of invitations Harijan Maharaj gave a lecture from Bhagavat-gita

We had many young friends atractked to the special sounds :)

Maharaj tryed to teach us a few sanskrit verses from Bhagavat-gita....

On one of the evening programs a journalists from a local newspaper visited the temple,joined the program of Maharaj and made an article after a few days.
Also Maharaj shared very intersting experiences about working with people,organising tours ,newsletters and a better organisation and strategy.

And the premier of the film "Guru" was succesful!

The room was full of enthusiastic people who came for the event

Specialy for the case there were german subtitles

Harijan Maharaj has co-produced the movie about the search for the guru, called Guru. Director of the movie is Tamas Toth. It has been shot in February 2010, during the Kumbha Mela in Vrindavan and the premier exhibition took place last december

India-My Dream -a brilliant production of a photo album book with 216 pages and more than 200 color photos,colected in 4 years work of Harijan Maharaj and a friend of him from his Inbound-Yoga toors to India.The book got 3 National Awards in Hungary.

Now Maharaj went back to Hungary,where he helpy for the organisation of the Summer Hungary Mela in Nanda Falva.We hope Harijan Maharaj will visit us again to share more intersting stories for Krsna and his devotees.

"Meat Eaters Anonymus" Festival

Here is a small report from the Spoon Revolution festival in Vrinda Kunja center,Berlin.In the same weekend we had a stand on a festival in Cottbus,so it was an intensive weekend.Also Lord Indra was playing with the clouds so it was very rainy all the time,but this didnt desturb the inspired vegetarians to celebrate together the common goal of compassion.On the video you can see part of the performance of our dear friends from Quiro,more about them you can see here : http://quirio.com/ .

One of the main messages of the festival was

City Festival in Cottbus 2011

Dear friends,we want to share with you our nice experience from the Cottbus festival two weeks ago.The festival is a typical street festival with food stands,stages with music,art and takes place every year.Normaly the devotees from ISKCON temple in Leipzig are participating regulary.We also had invitations other times but we took part for first time this year with the nice coorperation of the devotees from Leipzig,Berlin and Jena!Without them would be not posible :) Thanks again and again :)

The vaishnava monk Swami BA Harijan is on a visit in Berlin!Coming from Hungary and constantly traveling,Maharaj Harijan will spend the next week with us.He is a very intersting personality having many experience in his life and working hard for the benefit of humanity.He is organising twice in a year touristic groups to India,participating in the farm project in Hungary,having a lot of service in the internet,participating in a moovie production and printing of a book with his photographies....and more and more....Very active!

We will start at 5h AM in Kurukshetra ashram and countinue till 15h PM .Then we will moove to our other ashram Vrinda Kunja for our Spring festival.We will countinue there till 21h PM .After the festival we will come back again to Kurukshetra and countinue singing till 05h in the morning and the next Mangala Arati.

We from the Spoonrevolution invite everybody to our meat eaters anonymous party. The concert will be held at our cultural centre in Kopenhagerner Strasse 24 in Reinickendorf and begins at 17:00 o clock.

We will have live music with Artists from all around the world. Curcus Rhapsody, Qüirio and Sri Ram only to mention a few. Vegetarian Live Cooking, conscious cinema and a conscious art gallery will also be arranged for you.
